Traditionally we have more commonly seen the regulated professions such as accountants, architects, insurance brokers, solicitors and surveyors buying professional indemnity insurance, however with an increasingly litigious world that we trade in, we are seeing a considerable increase in other professions being either contractually obliged to buy professional indemnity or are doing so to protect their own business interests and equally promote extra security to clients and prospective clients.
Our professional liability team has a wealth of experience that spans some 45 years in the London and Lloyd’s insurance market. Our specialists have been at the forefront of changing market conditions over the years and have developed strong working relationships with insurers which allow us to negotiate the best possible arrangements for our clients.

Brian Bendle
Brian has been working for over 30 years in the Lloyd’s and London Insurance Market, most of those specialising in Professional Liability and Directors & Officers Liability classes.
Sarah Tarbin ACII, Chartered Insurance Broker
Sarah is an Assistant Director and has over ten years of experience in the Lloyd’s and London insurance Market . Her wealth of knowledge has successfully achieved her ACII and Chartered Insurance Broker status. Sarah controls the vital role of being a wholesale liaison and overseeing the divisional administrative functions.
Oliver Wharmby
Oliver’s experience of placing professional liability in the Lloyd’s and London insurance market spans over 10 years. Whilst he deals with all professions, his specialism lies within the legal and surveying sector. Oliver also manages our wholesale liaison with French producing brokers.
Rebecca Brown
Rebecca has been broking professional liability in to the Lloyd’s and London insurance market for over seven years. She has a broad knowledge of all professions with financial institutions being her area of expertise. Rebecca has the crucial role of identifying new markets to support whilst equally maintaining existing insurer relations.
Nicholas Marchant
Nicholas specialises in the placing of Solicitors and Property professionals in the Lloyd’s and London Insurance Market.
